Claire joined Oxford Science Enterprises in March 2023, bringing over twelve years’ experience of advising high-growth technology companies on communications and branding across the UK, Canada, and US.
At OSE, Claire is responsible for the company’s communications strategy – building OSE’s profile as a champion of innovative companies, showcasing the work happening across our portfolio, and advising founders on how to prioritise communications as they scale their businesses.
Claire started her career at a PR agency, working with global companies including Facebook and Microsoft on issues management and corporate reputation. An accidental start up convert, Claire has led communications at fast growing companies in the payments, blockchain and financial services space. In her previous role at Canada’s leading fintech, Wealthsimple, Claire was a founding team member of the company’s UK launch, responsible for building brand presence in their first international market.
With a background in politics, Claire has managed two successful federal political campaigns for Canadian Cabinet Minister the Honourable Karina Gould.
Claire holds a BA in Political Science from McGill University.
