Sam joined Oxford Science Enterprises in October 2019 and leads the Deep Tech investment team, driving opportunities across transformative sectors including Future of Compute, Energy & Climate, Agriculture, and Industry 4.0.
He oversees the team’s pipeline of new opportunities, venture-building activities, and support for the existing portfolio.
Prior to OSE, Sam worked in management consulting, focusing on developing and deploying AI solutions for global corporates. Since joining OSE, he has played a pivotal role in deals across AI, Semiconductors, and Space, before stepping into leadership of the Deep Tech team.
Sam holds a first-class master’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford, where his thesis exploring the possibility of machine consciousness received academic distinction.
