Katharina joined Oxford Science Enterprises in May 2023. She focusses on uncovering new opportunities in Life Sciences as well as supporting the team in the creation of new biotech businesses and the existing portfolio.
Katharina received her PhD in Immunometabolism from the University of Cambridge where she characterised the role of a novel purine metabolising enzyme in regulating dendritic cell-T cell priming. She also holds an MRes in Medical Science from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds.
Academic research that Katharina has contributed to has been published in leading journals including Cell and Cell Metabolism.
Prior to OSE, Katharina gained experience in venture capital during an internship in life science investment at Cambridge Innovation Capital.
