Eleonora joined Oxford Science Enterprises in February 2025. She focuses on uncovering new opportunities in Life Sciences, as well as supporting the creation of new biotech businesses and the existing portfolio.
With over a decade of experience in neurology, Eleonora has worked across academia and industry as both a researcher and a manager. She completed a PhD and postdoctoral research at University College London (UCL), investigating the mechanisms of epilepsy and exploring gene therapy approaches. She then joined UCB Pharma in Belgium, where she continued working on gene therapies and small molecules. Alongside this, she co-secured an Epilepsy Research UK Program Grant and an MRC Gap Fund to advance a diagnostic device at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, where she remains an honorary researcher.
Before joining OSE, Eleonora was a Translational Research and Business Manager at the UCL Institute of Neurology, where she launched a pilot fund to support commercially promising research and advised on grant writing and industry collaborations.
Eleonora also holds a Master’s and BSc in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and was a 2024 LifeArc Knowledge Transfer Fellow.
